Philippines Launches DHIS2-Based Multisector Nutrition Information System

About the Conference

This DHIS2-based national platform—a first for the Philippines—strengthens delivery and monitoring of nutrition and social protection services, especially for pregnant women and children under two, through:

🔹 Integrating data across government agencies

🔹 Enabling real-time tracking of child nutrition and service delivery

🔹 Providing digital tools for mobile data collection, web-based management, and dashboards

With technical support and user training from HISP India, the system has now moved beyond pilot phase and is being rolled out across 235 local government units nationwide. The PMNP-IS sets a strong example of digital transformation in public health and nutrition, powered by inter-agency collaboration and open-source tools.
