Key Highlights

A strong DHIS2 core team has been established at both national and province levels, providing technical expertise and leadership in the implementation and utilization of DHIS2.
Several major health programs in Lao PDR have adopted DHIS2 as their primary platform for data reporting and analysis. This has streamlined data collection and improved the availability of reliable health data.
HISP Vietnam has maintained close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Cabinet, WHO Lao team, and development partners to ensure the sustainability of DHIS2 implementation in Lao PDR.
HISP Vietnam's support has significantly strengthened Lao PDR's health information systems, enabling the country to make informed decisions based on reliable data. This has contributed to improved health outcomes for the Lao PDR population.
